Mercury Yantra Workshop

Mercury Yantra Workshop

Creating a yantra is a powerful energetic practice that involves the simultaneous use of both hemispheres of the brain. It is also a relaxing and wonderful way to spend a day.

A form of sacred geometry, a yantra is a mystical design used as a centering device for meditation. It is a symbolic composition of specific energies, a visual representation of a universal pattern and its use encourages focus and calming.

In this workshop you will learn how to draw and paint the Mercury Yantra. You will also learn the mantra associated with Mercury and we will discuss the planet’s qualities according to Vedic numerology. Time permitting you may also construct a mandala around the yantra using the Vedic Square.

According to Vedic Astrology the 9 planets release energies that influence our lives. Similarly, it is believed that these energies can be drawn upon to improve our lives. So there is a specific astrological yantra for each planet with specific colours and form imparting specific energies.

Art paper, all guache paint and other supplies will be provided.
